Traits is a 6-episode anthology documentary seriesaround issues facing humanity, six social problems thathave been stereotyped over the years:1. Drug Addiction2. Gender Violence3. Discrimination against the LGBTIQ Community4. Discrimination against people with disabilities5. Catastrophic Illnesses6. Xenophobia or racism towards Refugees and Migrants.From the testimonies of resilient people and survivorswho, through a mask, will expose their life stories.Anonymity, so necessary in the process of revelations,is transformed into a mask. Each mask is created by thecharacters themselves and becomes a tool that allowsthem to have freedom of speech, conveying differentmeanings and representations in relation to their lifestories. In the course of the narrative, the characterswill have the freedom to decide whether to remove themask or not. The narration of the characters will beillustrated by collage-style 2D animations. This resourcemakes it possible to highlight certain profound eventsin each story and touch feelings in a particular waythat respects anonymity. Something essential in eachchapter is to show the diversity of characters and theirresilience process. It is not only about making a truthvisible, it is also being able to generate identificationwith the stories.
