We see less and less goof theatrical pieces on the screen and more and more teleplays, specially written for television. But we are still convinced that there is a place for interesting, well written stage plays adapted for television. In going from the stage to the screen, the challenge is how we can refresh their presentation and be innovative presenting three different adaptations from three different countries: a Cuban surrealistic and fascinating play, a Belgian theatre essay, and an American very well directed production. We have put them together to raise the question of what makes them so appropriate for television.
