The world of improvisation, avant-garde theatre and comedy are combined in the presentation of three works captured for television in productions from Canada, Denmark and Spain. Competition in the hockey arena provides a stage for improvisational situations presented in a new form which allows for audience participation. Comedy framed in a stylized surrealistic approach utilizes a range of television’s electronic effects in the presentation of the theatrical production from Denmark. Finally, comedy is used to explore the future in the year 2598, with a roving camera capturing the dramatics of the “mini-scene” as we wander through a Spanish village.
