The art of story telling is at the heart of life, using the power of image and sound. But are there responsibilities and ethics to consider when telling history? How far can we go to achieve our goal? Do we have to express the intimacy of our subject? Are we right to violate that intimacy to reach the truth? In 'Hypocrite´s Oath', are the priest and his girl friend hypocrites or is it the producer? In 'The last trace' the film explores the past as a path to the future. In Africa there is a saying: 'An Elder who dies is like a library burning.' 'Yin and bai' propose a perfect ambiance that is almost exhibitionist in front of the camera. Is the world really perfect like that?
