Don’t let it fall into just anyone’s hand! Television can be turned into a weapon with multiple uses: a political tool undermining democracy, or feeding viewers with ”embedded” information, or contributing to building lethal social stereotypes. Strangely enough, these are also the dangerous roles in which television likes to portray itself.
