Written text and TV movie drama are two different media. Each one has its own aesthetics, and adaptation is always a work of re-creation. Art is achieved only if the so-called “adaptation” ends up as something else, completely different, yet faithful to the spirit and thoughts of the author. Art has nothing to do with reality: art depicts life, and life is our own feeling toward reality.
