Does tv still tell the story by the image, or only visualise the text? When we put down an idea for a new film on a piece of paper, do we still keep in our mind THE IMAGE? Filmmakers who fight for beauty and quality of each frame haven't lost their position, yet. We will show you some proof of this. But to be honest, tv programming needs to show more 'extracts of reality', as the supplement to the text instead 'of describing a world'. THE IMAGE has become handy, loosing its aesthetic independence. Maybe there is still time to keep the balance and come back to the source.
