This powerful programme deals with a controversial subject in a very sensitive, but frank way. It is a two-part drama based on true events that took place in Newfoundland in the early part of 1970. It chronicles the sexual and physical abuse of young boys by Christian Brothers ata church-run orphanage and its aftermath 15 years later when the abusers were brought to trial. The programme has been banned in two of Canada's provinces, Ontario and Quebec, while trials of a similar kind are going on.
