Television engages our conscience, but rarely does it challenge our ways of seeing and locating ourselves in the world. These tasks depend on the singularity of the vision of the maker, a singularity not usually welcomed by public television. The four programmes in this session are essays toward a new televisión, each without a plot or even clearly identifiable subject, but each with a logic that captures our regard.
