Session Focus: Music as a tool Music plays an important role in telling a story. It can be used as a tool to move the plot forward, to attain continuity in the edit, or to elicit emotions. In this session, we will screen three programmes where music is the heart of the story. In the first film, a drummer’s life is infused with rhythm. In the second one, passion for music lifts up the spirits of people in a remote village. Finally in the third one, music will bring out the child in all of us.
