By looking at our past we can, hopefully, learn something for the present and the future. Prejudice in every day life can lead to discrimination an mass murder. We have to look at the darker sides of our culture, and deal with our negative instincts in order to understand the hostilities towards the “other”. When TV deals with history it should not only be concerned with the “great villains”, but also with the “little people” who conform, take advantage, and become the accomplices of the radical racist and the political murderer.
