Robert Wilson, the creator of the monumental theater piece “Einstein on the Beach” and “The Civil Wars” is a theater director and designer known for his striking visual tableaux and an unusual sense of time and space. STATIONS is a series of lush visual images, a fantasy full of obsessive and repetitive actions and slow tempos that weave a hypnotic spell. Raoul Ruiz, a Chilean director who came to Paris ten years ago, is the leading avant-garde filmmaker in France today. His work is highly romantic with a quirky questioning modernism that is Ruiz’s distinctive voice.
