It takes courage, tenacity and commitment to challenge the official “truth” of the establishment. And, for some, making the program is only half the battle. Only one of these programs had been aired, and that one some seven years after it was produced. Not everyone will agree with what the producers have to say about plutonium contamination, the role of women in national struggles, or workers’ strikes, but their messages are a challenge to us and to the authorities.
