Four directors were shooting four different films with four crews, to compile them at the end to have only one material. It’s not a sketch film. It’s a real one. All the four of them were working at the same time – from 10 AM until noon next day. All of them, as well as their characters were taking the very same train: Johannes, the lonely old gentleman from Vienna is travelling/going to spend All Saints’ Day where he’d spent most of his life. Kamilla comes from Transsylvania, but lives in Hungary. She’s travelling to Romania to get her birth-certificate there. Attila, the unskilled worker is also hurrying home for All Saints’ Day. Simon, the artist, is taking a strainer back its to maker to Transsylvania. Ibrahim, the Sudanian doctor – now living in Budapest – is visiting someone at a Hungarian homestead as he’s heard that the man has been starving for 40 days... Do they have anything in common beside taking the same train?
