“The miserables” is a programme specially made for international screening. It’s an example of the very Finnish television humour, where a home-made philosopher wonders the world around him. Through this programme we can consider the similarities and the differences of the comic thinking in various countries. Are there any differences in making people laugh nationally or internationally? Are there cultural or national barriers in watching the comedy or light entertainment? “The miserables” was also shown in Montreux this year.
