The lies of the mosques

Hidden DV-cam reveals the true story from the inside of refugee communities of Norway: the African leaders support illegal genital mutilation of girls. For many years the African leaders in Norway have claimed that they are against female genital mutilation, denying that the old tradition still is practised in the west. But the young girls tell another story. One of them, 20-year-old Kadra, had to seek protection from the African community who wanted to mutilate her, in order to make her an honourable woman. In this documentary she goes back to the mosques, carrying a hidden DV-camera. The result as shown in this documentary shocked the nation, and started a wide political debate on how to stop the genital mutilation of a whole generation of refugee girls.
