Seduced and abandoned

This documentary expresses men’s uneasiness vis-à-vis women in today’s society: UNEASINESS with respect to tradition. Divorce becomes an everyday affair. It is especially the women who leave, and they take the children away. The divorced man in only a cash register. UNEASINESS with respect to sexuality. Wives work and they meet people. The husband find themselves having to “complete”… UNEASINESS with respect to the contradictory desire of today’s women. They want to command, and at the same time to be coaxed and protected. They want the rights, and forget the duties… These viewpoints are expressed by men, obviously. They are all 30 to 45 years old, have all been married and now lead a single life. Significance for INPUT: this broadcast runs counter to the popular ideas about women’s lib. It denounces the excesses of such ideas. Of course, it risks falling in turn a victim to the contrary excesses, but it’s fair tactics in an attempt to re-establish a balance.
