Missing danes

Each year 9000 Danes vanish. More than half of these people is found within 24 hours, 6 are never found. 6 fates whose families, friends as well as the authorities exclude suicide and criminality. However, all possibilities are to be left open _ Missing danes is a documentary on the 6 persons never found. Missing danes is produced together with the families and national and international authorities. Each programme is dealing with only one case- Major and attorney, Jorgen Kirk disappeared on August 28th 1989. As usual Mr Kirk´s wife was the first to leave on this particular morning. When she got home from her work, her husband had disappeared. No one has ever seen him since. 1 year and a 1/2 later Mogens Rasmussen, a journalist with DR tries together with the son of Jorgen Kirk to solve the mystery. The trace led them to the South of France - During 1991, 7 programmes have been broadcast in the series. The ratings obtained an average of 30 %
