Life of children in the 21st century

The film was shot in Dakar, from July 1999 to January 2000. It evokes the life of street children in the Capital of Senegal.Two roving gangs are followed day and night in the city by a camera that calmly records the reactions, point of view and silent thoughts of children who are drugged, raped and destroyed, children whose destiny stopped the day it began and who we see reduced to the lowest conditions of existence. Through its form (images in black and white, at a speed that is often frustrating, sometimes silent, sometimes with sound), the film maintains and affirms its existence with the style of a documentary, based in moments in real life, never staged...
