Satirical sketches on persons and events in Sweden and abroad the past week. The scriptwriters/actors are two young men, quite typical of the young conscious generation. Their sketches arouse love among the young viewers – and hatred- among the old conservative ones. 54 petitions were submitted to the Swedish Radio Council against the programmes. The programme was also discussed in the Parliament. Most of the newspapers wrote about the series on the editorial and cultural pages, and it was mentioned in many letters to the editor and in polls. A new series will be produced during the spring of 1986. Sweden with its rather small experience of satire is worried –scared- and happy.
