This program was presented in February, 1993on Saturday night during “teen primetime”. Over 1,300,000 viewers watched this 90 minute docu-variety show. Teens watched with their parents. What they saw were two “not-so-ordinary parents” Chantal Francke (Rock et Belles Oreilles) and Claude Meunier (Ding et Dong) running a phone-in for adolescents. Humour and serious subjects are the order of the day.The program was written by young humorists, inspired by over 50 hours of interviews, documentary-style, with teens from across Canda. This ambitious project, close to 12 months in the making, mixes sketches, stand-up humour and personal testimonies. A full gamut of emotions, cares, dreams, aspirations of the so-called Generation “X”.Two more specials are presently in preproduction for broadcast in 94-95.
