Critical eye – Battle of Trafalgar

Media coverage of the poll tax protests – culminating in the mass march to Downing Street on 31 March 1990 – had left protesters feeling that their side of the story was not being conveyed in the supposedly impartial news converge. “The battle of Trafalgar” was an attempt to tell the story from the protesters’ viewpoint, involving the protesters themselves.
