This 8 minute experimental video politicizes the erotic, specifically the homoeroticism of African American men. It brazenly appropriates music video aesthetics, a driving House rhythm soundtrack, and rap-styled “sampling” of black gay verse to signify and subvert mainstream culture and sexual ideology around black masculinity.
