He: television play on a radio fantasy

HE is a single man, siting alone in his one-room flat after his work and listening to the radio. His unability to concentrate between three different programs of music- he is switching the radio the whole time on and off – is the main theme of this small television play. HE is the last result of a metamorphosis in many ways: at first Mauricio Kagel composed forty-one different numbers of music, changing between the serious and the entertaining genre; then he wrote a radio play with the music as a background; finally he changed this radio play to the last metamorphosis: the television version.
