You want this? Which elections?!

You Want This? is a Finnish election programme that separates itself from traditional political journalism. It provides an outlet for young candidates and makes room for anarchistic views. The show also provides information in an attempt to raise political awareness among the youth and increase their participation. Young celebrity candidates utilise art to resolve social problems: Steen1 (Independent) rhymes about security and Pikku G (Centre Party) raps about drugs, while cartoonist Kaisa Leka (Greens) attempts to connect the dots of a chaotic employment system that offers only short-term jobs. Paavo Arhinmäki (Left Alliance) uses the tactical patterns of football to resolve the shortcomings of education policy and stand-up comedian Lotta Backlund (National Coalition Party) tries to address the problems of immigrants through humour.
