What're you gonna do next Karolinka?

Karolinka, an 18-year-old mother, is looking for her place in the world and hopes for a better life, the one she has experienced for a moment when she worked on a feature movie. A life without vodka, theft and violence. Karolinka, and her year-old child live in the slum area. She tries with all her might not to succumb to the influence of her social milieu. She protects her child and attempts to continue her education. She tries to cope with her role as a mother with her boyfriend and his drinking companions. All that life rolls through her little room – amidst all that she tries to manage her own problems. Her life is a constant struggle for normalcy. Although Karolinka is just at the beginning of the road she is already exhausted. Early in her life she fought for the attention and love of her parents now she is fighting for the future of her infant son.
