Visa, vodka and videotape

Two asylumseekers from Ukraine, a young married couple, arrive in Oslo. They are filming their trip and their activities with a videocamera. The day after arriving they submit their application for asylum underfalse names. They also start to falsify their documents and filming it while they do it. Then starts a tour of several refugee-camps in Norway. With their own videopictures the two young Ukrainians reveal an image of asylumseekers never seen before on TV. They tell a story of daily life an parties at these insitutions. You have never seen asylumseekers as jolly as these! And charming too! After receiving a copy of the footage, the documentary's producer finds the the couple in Kiev, Ukraine and travels to meet them. While watching the footage they filmed while in Norway, they tell their own story; why they had to flee Ukraine and how they killed time while beeing asylumseekers. Their own footage eventually becomes their destiny. It is the evidence in this film that eventually seals their faith.
