Venus Fire

VENUS FIRE is a fiction video aiming at the prevention of AIDS amongst prostitutes. The plot revolves around a pleasure lottery (the ComeAthon), sponsored by the Venus Fire nightclub. Owned and operated by the beautiful prostitute Valeria Venus, the lottery attracts the whole city to dispute the main prize – a lucky condom! A way to get people to benefit from the pleasures of sex without exposing themselves to the disease. Still, at a time when desire and danger go together, a maniac is loose on the streets: Harry AIDS, a violent psychopath, “the one-man virus dragnet”. The character is a metaphor for the disease (not for people with AIDS). As fate would have it, Harry and Valeria fell in love leading the video bursting surprises.
