Useless public works

Since mid-May 86, each Sunday in the 8 o´clock evening News, Jean-Claude Defosse has presented to the Belgian TV viewers examples of important and very expensive but strictly useless Public Works achievements. Among others: abandoned, newly constructed railway stations, highway tunnels, highway sections closed to traffic, hospitals of which there are too many, etc. The six examples shown in this programme are a representative slection of the series which was highly appreciated by the audience.
