The aim of @ohnetitel3000 is to blaze a trail towards art education for a young audience, and in particular for young people who have had little or no contact with the classical art canon. We want to create first points of contact: close to everyday life and suitable for the platform (TikTok). In order to achieve this, we tell true and made up anecdotes from the world of art that are first and foremost funny, crazy and/or entertaining — and ideally, they are not even perceived as art education. Our theory: If we create the space and the opportunity just for those brief, entertaining contacts with art in each clip, we already achieve more than the ‛classic’ art education (where many of the target group probably drop out straight away). The channel’s bio on TikTok said right from the start: ‛Something with Knust’. The deliberate spelling mistake (‛Knust’ — bread end — instead of the German word for art, ‛Kunst’) was intended to emphasise that the format does not take itself or its subject too seriously. However, ‛Knust’ was then brought to life for the second season: as a small bread end on two legs, it experiences crazy adventures in the world of art and is now loved very dearly by our community on TikTok.
