U: Filter

Five young reporters are covering reality in their own special way. They are all amateurs, and a one-man team. Alone with the camera they come closer! The reports vary in style and subject because the five reporters are all individualists. The studio has been stripped down to the bare minimum to match the unpolished footage. This is a program made for young people starting life on their own. In this particular program, Mari (21) wonders how she can make a political career, so she pecks up tips from the youth-leaders from most of Norway´s political parties. Kim (24) really wants a girlfriend, and decided to try really hard this time. An almost painfully honest report... Lasse (25) is trying hard to find his way in the enormous amount of information that we are exposed to every day. He also meets a young art student in studio, who has decided not to watch television or read papers anymore. Thomas (23) has visited former East Berlin where young people are sharing a squat called Tacheles. They have made it into galleries, cafés, etc. The area has turned into a tourist attraction, but is still threatened by demolition.
