RawFilm – a Finnish company that funds independent film producers- decided to contact a famous funk singer, Sam Huber, an adored actress, Maria Sid, and a radio drama world champion, Solveig Matsson. The company offered to finance a film on a classical Finnish short story if the stars would agree to direct it within 24 hours. They did. Scriptwriter Annina Enckell wrote three different scripts based on the stars’ respective interpretations of the story. The stars managed to shoot and edit within the allotted 24 hours. The result: Triptych.
