The voice

This is the story about the lonesome old man Vasil Popjanevski and his everyday life in his village Braychino. The most difficult part of his life is his loneliness. Once his family was large and numerous. Today he is in touch with his brother and his relatives who live in America only through tape recordings. The seasons in the film change, but the loneliness in the space remains in the sad voices from the tape recordings which are exchanged across the ocean.
