No more than 100 meter long Eriksgade is the darkest street in Copenhagen´s most violent and poorest district. The streets app. 200 residents are the city´s outcasts: prostitutes, alcoholics, unemployed, greenlanders, drug-abusers and mentally ill. The documentary focus on two elderly men, Åge and Viggo, and their relationship to each other and the people in the street. In a small joiners workshop alcoholics, Greenlanders and prostitutes gather to hear Viggo talk and drink a beer or two. One person that Viggo seldom mention in a positive way is Åge. Åge, 57, lives in a two room apartment opposite Viggo´s workshop. In his bedroom he has prostitutes working while he and a few drug-abusers and small-scale dealers do their thing in the livingroom. Susanne, 21, work in Åge´s bedroom to supply herself and her husband with heroin.
