The story of Vinh

This is the story of the son of Us GI and a Vietnamese woman, who emigrates to the US. Having come from a life of poverty and prejudice, he now faces the trials of life in a foster family who believes he is younger and less street-wise than he actually is. By following Vinh in and out of schools, and foster homes, we are given a look at the limits of our foster care system, and the divergence of this world’s many cultures as seen in their expectations, hopes and demands.
