The room - The embrace

In the middle of a bare-like room a woman dances alone. In the dark, twelve other women, standing at different levels, take up her gestures like in a hallucinated world. They form something like a hanging echo to the first dancer. In a abstract and shining space, in black and white, a man and a woman embrace each other just like if they were struggling, then part. Our work does not appeal to any particular technique. Only the awareness of the body and the acting remain the key elements of our search. This physical study, strongly linked to emotion, uses various contributions, energy, weight, temporal and relational space which are likely to convey expressive force.
