NHK, as a public broadcasting corporation of the only nation to have suffered a nuclear attack, has produced this program by gathering materials from or interviewing 123 natural and social scientists from countries around the world to depict the fate of humanity in the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust. In producing this program, NHK paid particular attention to special-effect devices.
