1803: in the city of Konigsberg, the philosopher Emmanuel Kant is now over 70. His life is settled according to a precise ritual, never to be tampered with. 5.00 am. He is waking up to find that the coffee ceremony hasn´t got any quicker. Afternoons are for strolling in the garden, with everybody trying to adjust to everybody else´s pace. Dinnertime at last, at the end of which the guests sing together. Of the obsessional kind, Kant will attempt to his very last days to put his philosophical theories in practice.
