The end of the comedy

The end of the comedy (in three versions). TV Beograd’s Art evening programme produced in 1986 a triology ( 3 video versions of a play, THE END OF COMEDY, written by Ivo Andrid, Nobel Prize winner for literature in 1961. The programme was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of his death and his literary heritage. THE END OF THE COMEDY (1912) is the only attempt of young Andric as a playwright. Andrid never published it considering it worthless. This one act was published for the first time post mortem, in one literary magazine in 1986. Young TV director, (Miljenko Dareta, Predrag Sindjelic, Milan Peca Nikolic) based their video works on this play.
