A year ago, Nicolas Saline, Soviet prisoner of the Afghan resistance is liberated without conditions and brought back by two French film-makers, Christophe de Ponfilly and Bernard Gallet. He wants to go to France. Left in Pakistan he waits... for nothing. Months later, Victor Loupan decides to go to look for him with Christophe de Ponfilly. Victor is Russian and lived in USSR until he was 20. He belongs to the same generation as Nicolas and could have been soldier of the Russian army as well. He wants to make him talk and know more about these people of the shade. The Soviet prisoners are considered by the USSR like traitors. This report is a unique testimony of despair. Vietnam-Afghanistan: useless wars, lies, horror, genocide, ,drugs. The same men, the same questions, the same lucidity.
