The Valley

In a Latin American city, we follow the tragic itinerary of a pregnant teenage girl. Aixa doesn´t know if she will have the baby or not. Carmen, her grandmother, is taking her to a hospital to have an abortion. The baby´s father, Ramon, is a violent youngster who is wanted by the police. He is against the abortion and is threatening Aixa´s life. The gynecologist, Sergio, may be the one to help Carmen. Carmelo, the parish priest is definitely against it. These characters represent the opposites between science and religion. Aixa´s indecision gives life to the argument, where everybody has their own opinion, and nobody really cares about what she wants. The conflict among the characters creates a dark drama where Aixa is condemned to be the principal victim.
