Henry Hoke is a little known inventor who lived in the small outback town of Hoke’s Bluff, and whose extraordinary work has recently been discovered. A serial inventor and chronic optimist, Henry Hoke led an astonishingly varied and productive life across much of the twentieth century. He is without doubt Australia’s greatest inventor. Over a long life he developed ideas and theories that are even now not quite understood. The 20 x 5 minute interstitials document the inventions of this unknown genius exploring Henry’s prolific output. Narrated by political satirist Bryan Dawe, the episodes aired in prime time just before the 7pm news and were accompanied by a multiplatform component.
