The Baltic way

On August 23, 1989 a 600 km long human chain was formed through Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Soviet- Nazi Pact of 1939 wich ceeded these then independent states to the USSR.'The baltic way' is a true document of the event short by 10 cameras in three countries. Nearly 2 million people stood hand in hope of independence.
