That’s No Way to Kill Your Mother

Good Deeds in Daylight is a series of short television plays about the current spirit of the age. A constant element in all films is the obscure part of human consciousness. The episodes, although not moralistic, show what can happen if that scrupulously suppressed part of one´s personality comes out. In this first episode of the series 24-year-old Cor finds himself no longer welcome in his parents´ home in the forlorn world of the Flevopolder housing estate, he becomes bent on revenge. His younger brother Henny, who is slower on the uptake, in every respect, than other people, becomes a helpless instrument in the hands of his diabolical brothers.
