The fear and passion of growing up. Still children, but soon to be adolescents, Anne and Charlotte tell each other their lives, their worries, their dreams, and their longings. One lives on a farm in the Toulouse area in the south of France. The other one lives in the northern city of Lille. Through the “Vis a Vìs2 program, they can meet each other over three days. They are both twelve and a half, an age that is a turning point, an age unknown and on the margins of public attention. Anne and Charlotte share their intimate worlds –books, records, nature, their first kisses... But at their ages, they are already too old to ignore the world of adults with its incoherences: war, drugs, unemployment, pollution.
