Strange springtime

1986 – The Belgian writer Pierre Mertens settles in Berlin chasing Gottfried Benn of his last novel: “Les Eblouissements”. Michel Jakar, interested by this same pursuit, constructs his film as if he were making an investigation, chasing Pierre Mertens and the poet from Berlin, going over the same places and inducing encounters: the characters are there, the film arises from theses confrontations.
