Stars of Pest

This programme is one of a series commemorating the 100th anniversary of a bi-weekly literary periodical called Nyugat (meaning “West” in Hungarian). This periodical, which existed from 1908 till 1941, became the center for the modern revolutionary from the very fi rst moment of European literature in Hungary. The 100th anniversary was a great challenge. How to attract the viewers who have quite a good knowledge about the artists and their works.
