Spotlight

'Groot Licht' - 'Spotlight' is a light-hearted, informative, science-based children's programme. Yvon Jaspers and Johan Terreyn, help youngsters to understand the how and the why of the things around them. In each edition, Yvon and Johan explore a central theme, such as falling, fear, true and false, big and small, sound, excitement, language, control, nutrition, colour, etc. Via Yvon and Johan's mental leaps and free association, the young audience are presented with a world of information about that week's topic. Besides some 'solid' scientific information, backed up by an experiment in studio, each programme also features a report with background information from an expert. That 'Groot Licht' is truly a children's programme is underlied by the fact that the expert in question is always a knowledgeable youngster and never an academic or professor.
