Smooth talk

It´s a languid, uneventful summer for 15 -year- old Connie Wyatt, suspended between her freshman and sophomore years and looking for adventure. She gets more than she bargained for in the form of a mysterious, vaguely menacing stranger --older and tougher than the boys she usually dates --- who robs her of her chilhood one silent summer afternoon. SMOOTH TALK was the first direction of a feature film by Joyce Chopra, a documentary filmmaker. SMOOTH TALK was a theatrical film produced by a Public Television production entity.
