A visit to Sderot, a development small town located in the north of the Negev desert only an hour ride from urban Tel Aviv. Sderot was establish in the early 50´s by immigrants mostly from North Africa. Today, Levi Zini takes us on a journey exploring the daily lives of nine young adults, first generation Israeli, growing up in Sderot. By exposing their dreams, visions of the world and aspirations the inborn 'negative image' of the immigrants diffuses. The movie draws a picture of the generation gap between the film´s heroes and their North Africa immigrant parents, and portray the heroes new and unique Israeli identity. Through this documentary we discover new faces of Sderot, this small town isolated socially and economically, that had sprouted creative and successful people who contribute to the Israeli culture.
